Program Description
Children in Need of Services / Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS) programs provide temporary shelter care and crisis counseling services for runaways, ungovernable, troubled and/or habitually truant youth (ages 10-17) and their families. The intent of CINS/FINS is to divert children who commit status offenses from entering child welfare or juvenile justice systems.
